Volunteers dig in at Stowmarket's Hillcroft House
Residents, staff and volunteers at Hillcroft House in Stowmarket got ready for a new season by clearing garden beds.
Their hard work left the site ready for replanting.
The home in Finborough Road provides residential care and support to the elderly and specialises in dementia care.
Manager Amanda Atkins said all enjoyed the activity.
“We removed several rotten raised garden beds and levelled and prepared the garden, ready for replanting of spring and summer bedding plants. It was a special day and everyone really enjoyed getting involved and making a difference.
“It was very rewarding at the end of the day to stand back and see the fruits of labour. We all enjoyed a meal afterwards.”
