A village community centre is to be remodelled into classrooms for the local primary school.

Beck Row Community Association has a lease on its current site at Beck Row Primary School until 2093 but was asked to move by Suffolk County Council to free up space for the expanding school population.

On Tuesday, villagers voted in favour of building a new parish hall and visitor centre for Beck Row.

Discussions will continue on negotiating the association’s remaining lease.
