Firefighters' video shows extent of large forest fire in Brandon




Firefighters have released a video showing the extent of a large forest fire yesterday.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the forest fire in Brandon at 1.23pm.

Brandon Fire Station tweeted that the incident involved 10,000 sq metres of undergrowth alight.

Ten crews attended and the stop time was 8.54am today (May 8).

Brandon firefighters reinspected this morning to ensure there were no remaining hot spots.
