VIDEO: Hundreds cheer Tour of Britain though Bury St Edmunds




Hundreds gathered on Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds today to see the cream of the cycling world whizz through the town.

Stage seven of the Tour of Britain set off at 10am from Fakenham Racecourse in Norfolk this morning, with the peloton travelling south though Norwich and Thetford before speeding through Bury at around 1.35pm.

Big crowds lined the route, cheering the cyclists as they raced over the cobbled streets on their way to Stowmarket, Needham Market and Wattisham towards the final dash to the line in Ipswich.
