A bowls club will have to fork out at least £200 after vandals wrecked a recently fitted club sign.
The framed sign for Mundford Bowls Club was smashed with stones by vandals on Friday night having only been installed last year.
David Allen, club president, said the damage must have been done after members left the club at 11pm.
“Some damage had been done the day before but they must have come back to finish it off.
“They must have thrown quite large stones at it,” he said.
The six foot high sign was set in a frame above a hedge outside the club on West Hall Road.
The club will now have to pay £200 to replace it.
Police are now looking for witnesses to the incident. Call 101 if you have any information.
