Police are investigating after a truck was stolen in Thetford.

The incident happened at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, May 5 when a white Ford Tipper lorry, registration NJ61GHV, was stolen from outside a property in Green Lane.

As the result of an appeal to the public, the lorry has now been recovered but police are particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a silver van who are believed to have been offering to carry out garden work in the area at the time and may have more information.

Anyone with information should contact Pc Natasha Donnelly on 101, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
