Following a web appeal, police have identified a man who collapsed while out jogging this morning in Barton Mills.

They were contacted about 7.15am today after the man collapsed near Fiveways roundabout and was taken to the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital where he is now said to be in a stable condition.

But despite inquiries police were unable to find out who he was and to locate his next of kin. But following the online appeal, his next of kin contacted them.

Suffolk Police thanked the press and public for their help.
