Updated: Multiple fire crews called to animal rescue in Rougham

Firefighters were called to an ‘animal rescue’ in Rougham this afternoon.

A crew from Elmswell and two from Bury St Edmunds were called to reports that a horse had fallen on top of a woman at 1.55pm.

A second call was made 10 minutes later to say the horse was up and off of the 29-year-old woman.

An ambulance was also called.
