A woman in her 60s has been taken to hospital with back and spinal injuries following a collision involving a bus and car just outside Bury St Edmunds town centre.
Suffolk Police and the East of England Ambulance Service were called at 12.30pm to the incident involving a silver Ford Fiesta and a bus at the junction of St Andrew’s Street South and Robert Boby Way.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said an ambulance officer and one ambulance crew attended the incident.
He said: “They treated a woman in her mid-60s who was conscious and breathing. She suffered bad back and spinal injuries and has been taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further treatment.”
