UPDATE: Man named after fatal collision in Bury St Edmunds

Police have named the victim of a fatal collision in Bury St Edmunds.

Officers were called to Sainsbury’s Petrol Station in Bedingfeld Way, Moreton Hall, by the East Anglian Ambulance Service at around 3.10pm on Wednesday (June 17) to reports of a collision involving an elderly man and a vehicle.

Raymond Pryke, 83, of Rowan Way, in Thurston, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in a critical condition but died from his injuries yesterday.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
