A man has died following a crash on the A1065 at Mundford earlier today, police have confirmed.

Emergency crews were called at around 8.40am this morning following reports that a lorry had collided with a tree close to the Grimes Graves turning.

Norfolk police said a short time ago that the driver, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesman said the A1065 remains closed and is likely to be shut for some time.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Sergeant Andy Hood, of the Norfolk Police serious collision investigation team, based at Wymondham, on 101.
