A car collided into the Esso petrol station, in Tollgate Lane, Bury St Edmunds this morning.
Suffolk Police were called just after 10am to the incident involving an Audi vehicle and firefighters rescued one person from the vehicle.
A police spokesman said: “One vehicle is involved which has I believe gone into the building at the petrol station. One person was in the vehicle but is not considered to have serious injuries at this stage.”
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: “We were called at 10.04am today to a report of a car colliding into a petrol station in Tollgate Lane, Bury St Edmunds.
“A rapid response vehicle attended in under four minutes. However, no one was injured or required treatment. Our paramedic left the scene at 10.38am.”
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue said three crews attended the incident, which was under control by 10.18am.
The petrol station declined to comment when approached by the Bury Free Press but there did not appear to be any significant damage.
