A14 westbound near Stowmarket due to reopen after collision and fuel spill




The A14 westbound near Stowmarket which was closed following a collision and fuel spill is about to reopen, police say.

The closure was between junctions 49 and 47 and the collision involved a blue Triumph saloon car and Volvo lorry.

Suffolk Police were called at 4.04pm and the ambulance service attended.

Two people suffered minor injuries.

Traffic was diverted at junction 51, Beacon Hill, via the A140 and A143 to rejoin the A14 at junction 43 (St Saviours).
