UPDATE: A11 roundabout at Barton Mills clear after broken-down lorry recovered

A roundabout on the A11 has reopened following the recovery of a broken-down lorry.

Police were called at around 7.10am this morning to reports that a lorry had broken down in the central lane of the roundabout, at Barton Mills.

Northbound traffic approaching the roundabout was reported to be building up.

The articulated lorry, which was carrying a cargo of empty boxes, had suffered an electrical fault.

In order to recover the vehicle police closed the roundabout for around 15 minutes. The vehicle was recovered and the roundabout reopened by 9.30am.
