Bury St Edmunds Round Table will reveal its new Christmas sleigh at Thursday’s Christmas light switch-on event in the town.

The sleigh, which was built by Workwise trainees, will visit locations around Bury from December 7, playing festive music while Santa’s elves collect charity donations.

Event organiser Andy Barton said: “We are really excited about the launch of this amazing looking sleigh to the town. We can’t wait to see the reaction of families as we tour the town with Father Christmas.

“This wouldn’t have been possible without the brilliant work building the sleigh from Workwise, in Bury, along with support from the team at Barclays Bank who are assisting with the sleigh outings.”

Any local businesses or individuals interested in sponsoring one of the presents on the sleigh should email chairman@buryroundtable.co.uk

The times, dates and locations of the sleigh outings will be published on the Bury Round Table website in the coming weeks. Visit www.buryroundtable.co.uk
