Two women were taken to hospital yesterday after a crash near Elmswell.
The two-vehicle collision happened on the A1088 near Elmswell at around 7.40am.
A woman in her twenties who was driving a Vauxhall Astra was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital with serious chest injuries.
The female driver of a Ford Ka, who was also in her twenties, was not thought to have suffered critical injuries but was also taken to the Bury St Edmunds hospital.
A volunteer doctor from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) charity attended the incident, as well as ambulance crews from Bury and Stowmarket.
