Two vehicle collision in Mildenhall


Emergency services attended a two vehicle collision in Mildenhall this afternoon.

Police were contacted by the ambulance service at 12.40pm today to reports of a collision involving a Honda Sport and a Renault car at the junction of Hampstead Avenue and Field Lane.

As well as ambulance crews and police, the fire service attended the scene as a casualty, a man in his 60s, was trapped in his vehicle.

He was released by the fire service and taken to West Suffolk Hospital by land ambualnce.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance also attended the scene.

The incident was under control by 1.10pm.
