Two taken to hospital after serious crash near Great Barton

Two people were taken to hospital following a serious crash on the A143 at Great Barton last night, Friday, June 3.

A volunteer critical care team from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) was mobilised to the incident at around 7.45pm.

It involved two cars which had collided outside the Esso Garage on the A143.

A male patient in his 50s and a female patient in her 20s were both assessed by the SARS team at the scene before being conveyed to the West Suffolk Hospital.

Neither patient’s condition was believed to be life-threatening.
