Two men allegedly force woman to stop car and assault her in Thetford

Police are investigating after two men allegedly forced a woman to stop her car and assaulted her in Thetford this morning.

The woman was driving a silver Peugeot 307 alone along Croxton Road, close to Thetford Academy, at about 8.15am when the men forced the vehicle to stop.

They then assaulted her causing minor injuries to her arms and head.

The suspects were disturbed and left the scene.

The men were described as white, aged in their 20s, under 5ft 6in in height, wearing jogging bottoms, baseball caps and hoodies.

They may have spoken with a foreign accent.

A seal is currently in place at the scene whilst officers investigate the full circumstances of the incident.
