Two people were taken to hospital yesterday following a motocross accident in West Row.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) said they dispatched two ambulance crews, and an air ambulance from the Magpas charity, after receiving a call at 10.17am.

A man and a woman are both thought to have sustained fractures during the incident.

The EEAST spokesman said: “At the scene two patients were assessed, a woman, believed to be in her 20s, was treated for a suspected fractured collar bone and taken to West Suffolk Hospital via land ambulance.

“A man, believed to be in his 20s also, was treated for a fractured leg and airlifted to West Suffolk Hospital for further care.”
