Two arrests following six burglaries in St Edmundsbury and Forest Heath

Two teenage boys from London have been arrested and subsequently bailed in connection with six burglaries in St Edmundsbury and Forest Heath last week.

Three of the burglaries in question took place in Beck Row, one on Thursday, February 5 at a house in Aspal Hall Road and two on Tuesday, February 3 at a house and a business premises in St Johns Street respectively.

The other three burglaries took place at dwellings in Woodlands Way, Mildenhall on Thursday, February 5 and in Hengrave on Friday, February 6, and at a garden shed in Mitchell Avenue, Bury St Edmunds, also on February 6.

Over the past two days police have arrested a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy in East London, both on suspicion of these offences.

They have been questioned by detectives and bailed to attend Bury Police Investigation Centre on Tuesday, March 10 and Monday, April 13 respectively.
