Two appear in court following robbery at Thetford bookmakers

Two men charged in connection with a robbery at a Thetford bookmakers have appeared in court.

The incident took place on Sunday, February 15 at Coral, in Well Street, when a member of staff was kicked and punched to the ground. An undisclosed sum of cash was taken from the till, as well as the victim’s mobile phone.

Valentin Leocan, 26, and Silviu Fieraru, 29, both of no fixed address, appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 12.

Both men were charged with one count of robbery and were remanded in custody, to reappear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 26.
