A renowned West Suffolk restaurant is offering its support to charity endurance competition the Norfolk Superhero Challenge.
Boutique hotel and restaurant Tuddenham Mill is sponsoring the coastal event, on June 6, which is raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
All proceeds will help the charity, which runs a 24-hour search and rescue service around the UK and Ireland, to buy a new lifeboat for the Wells lifeboat station.
Now in its ninth year, the Superhero Challenge will see 180 competitors work in teams to take on four physical challenges - a one mile swim, four mile kayak race, 45 mile cycle ride and eight mile run across sand, mud and marsh.
Tuddenham Mill is the main sponsor for the opening competition, the swim from Gun Hill to Burnham Overy Staithe.
Malcolm Wyse, general manager, said: “We are delighted to be part of the Norfolk Superhero Challenge and help real life superheroes, volunteers at RNLI Lifeboats.”
