TripAdvisor users put Bury’s award winning French restaurant in top six

Maison Bleue has been ranked one of the country’s top half dozen restaurants by users of the top travel review website TripAdvisor.

The Bury St Edmunds French modern restaurant has been named the sixth best rated fine dining establishment in the UK in the 2015 Travellers’ Choice Restaurants awards, announced today by TripAdvisor

Maison Bleue, which is run by husband and wife team Pascal and Karine Canevet, celebrates a third year of success taking their place among the top best TripAdvisor rated and Michelin starred restaurant’s in the UK

It is a prestigious award, with Maison Bleue named alongside Michelin-stared ‎Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and Nottingham’s Restaurant Sat Bains.

Ratings are based on customer reviews of food, quality, service and atmosphere.

Pascal said: “We are delighted to win such a prestigious award for the third year. We are very proud of our exceptional team, and as independent owners it’s an enormous inspiration to receive such a renowned award.

A survey of over 3,500 British travellers by TripAdvisor revealed 45 per cent had been on or were planning to go on a gastronomic getaway specifically to eat at a particular restaurant.
