Police name woman who died in A134 Barnham collision

POLICE have named a 62-year-old woman who died in a road traffic collision on the A134 at Barnham on Thursday.

Glynis Laidlaw, of Hawthorn Walk, Thetford, was a passenger in a grey VW Polo which was in a collision with a red Rover and a red Peugeot 207. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female driver and a young male passenger of the VW were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where their condition is described as stable.

The driver of the red Rover was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with lower leg injuries.

Witnesses to the incident should call Pc Roy Dade at the Serious Collision Investigation team at Suffolk Police on 101.
