A14 crash victim is named

A MAN who died after his car collided with a parked lorry on the A14 at Stowupland has been named as Edward Mann.

The 49-year-old from Essex was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on February 20. He was driving a green Volkswagen Sharan which went into the back of a stationary lorry parked in a lay by on the east bound carriageway.

Emergency services attended and firefighters had to release the driver from his car, but he was pronounced dead at 12.31am on February 21. No-one else was injured.

An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned on February 25.
