A charity is calling on toddling tots to join them in their latest fund-raising event to support refurbishment plans for labour suites at West Suffolk Hospital.

The inaugural ‘Toddle for Tots’ has been organised by the My WiSH Charity, which supports the hospital, and will be held on Hardwick Heath, Bury St Edmunds, on Saturday, June 18 at 11am.

An afternoon of fun is planned with toddle distances for all ages and a teddy bear’s picnic on the heath with special guest and My WiSH Charity mascot Dr Edmund.

Sue Smith, fund-raising manager, said: “We are fortunate to have wonderful maternity suite staff at West Suffolk Hospital.

“There are currently eight rooms on the unit and all the money raised at this event will go towards refurbishment of these rooms.”

Admission to the toddle is £4 per child if you purchase early bird tickets – via https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ToddleforTots - or £5 on the day.
