Still time to bid in Ultimate Charity Auction in aid of GeeWizz charity

With just days to go until it closes, organisers of the Ultimate Charity Auction are making a final push for bids.

The online auction of more than 100 prizes, in aid of Fornham St Martin-based charity GeeWizz and the charity work of the League Managers' Association, closes on April 11.

Crystal Barber, GeeWizz executive manager, said only six lots were yet to receive bids, while one prize was bidding at £9,500 as we went to press.

"It is going really well already but we are not going to give up until it finishes. Bidding is strong and we hope that everybody will share the auction and view the prizes on offer," she said.

"We hope we can raise thousands to help people in need. Everything has been donated to the auction and we are grateful for so many amazing prizes.

"We are in a good position and very excited to see the final bids come in."

Among the prizes on offer are a VIP match day training experience with FC Barcelona, a Monaco grand prix superyacht experience for two, VIP Anthony Joshua experience in New York and Ed Sheeran's harmonica.

Lucky bidders could also attend the Britain's Got Talent semi-final, star in the Ultimate Football Manager game or watch the Chris Evans Breakfast Show live.
