Thurston nursery children enjoy graduation day

Brightsparks Nursery in Thurston held its pre-school graduation on Saturday with hand made caps, party food and a themed cake.

The children, who will be going to school in September, were all presented with individual certificates based on their personalities, including best dressed and biggest smile.

Tracey Alstin, manager of the Barton Road nursery, said: “It went tremendously well, it was nice to carry on our tradition of helping the children finish here properly.”

The children were also given party bags containing dinosaur crayons and books as well as hair clips and necklaces.

The nursery also had another celebration this week as pre-school practitioner, Aimee Alstin, achieved her Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Education.
