Art exhibition at college

The Thurston Community College A Level art, textiles and photography show is being held on Wednesday, June 27 at Thurston Sixth, Beyton Campus.

This year students have taken inspiration from a variety of personal starting points including architecture, portraiture, historical fashion, the environment and even the workings of their own mind.

Ronan Somerville, (pictured centre), a year 13 student, has been selected as one of the 43 finalists for this years Royal Academy of the Arts A Level online exhibition.

Ronan’s artwork was chosen over 2,100 other entries across the UK.
