Thrills, spills and bubbles are promised with the return of ‘It’s a Bury Knockout’ as teams clash to raise as much as possible for West Suffolk Hospital.
Local businesses and hospital departments will battle it out on Hardwick Heath, in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday (June 24) in an array of fun-filled and outlandish challenges.
Organised by the My WiSH Charity, the event - now in its fifth year - has raised more than £30,000 and it is not too late to take part with teams consisting of between six to 10 friends, family or work colleagues.
Alongside the Knockout, inflatable fun for the children has been organised with the Human Hamster Ball Company and Castle Capers both attending.
Sue Smith, fund-raising manager for My WiSH Charity, said: “We hope you can join us on the day, we have ordered sunshine and it promises to be the best one yet with more team games and fun for all the family.
“There will be food and drink available so bring a picnic mat and make an afternoon of it.
“As well as a great fund-raising event, the Knockout is one of the many ways My WiSH Charity celebrates all that is good about about our local hospital.
“We would love you all to be part of that.”
The Knockout is once again sponsored by Enterprise and Barnes Construction.
A team costs a minimum of £500 with money paid as a one-off donation, divided up between members or through small fundraising events such as a cake sale or quiz night.
If you are interested in having a team, email the fundraising team on firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone them on 01284 712952.
