YOUNG people were in full voice at the annual summer singing project staged in Thetford this week and the theme was spooky.
Every year the Thetford Music Project holds a summer workshop for children aged six to 14 who come along to put together a programme of songs from scratch which they then perform to parents and friends.
This is the fourth summer school and this year the theme was Chills and Thrills.
Two guest song leaders, Laura Miller and Christopher Wray, led the children through the rehearsals before yesterday’s performance.
John Weeks, co-ordinator of Thetford Voices, said: “The idea is to have a range of music and it gives children a chance to develop their skills and enjoy themselves.”
