Three in custody after drugs raid in Bury

Three people were arrested after a drugs raid in Bury St Edmunds yesterday.

Local officers, assisted by the Police Dog Unit, executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Coppers Close and in the region of 100 wraps of Class A drugs were seized.

Three men, all from Bury St Edmunds, were arrested in connection with this incident.

Two of the men, aged 32 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. The third, aged 23, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

All three were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where they currently remain in custody for questioning.
