Three people have been arrested after a Mercedes was set on fire in Thetford.

Police were called to reports of anti-social behaviour and vehicles racing on Barnham Cross Common at around 8.45pm on Tuesday February 16.

Officers arrived at the scene to discover a silver Mercedes has been set on fire.

Two men aged 20 and 24 and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and arson and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incidents or noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time.
