Three appear in court in connection with Bury St Edmunds shooting
Three men charged in connection with a shooting in Bury St Edmunds appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today.
Frank Warren, 51, Simon Webber, 31, and Andrew Seaton, 39, did not indicate a plea when they appeared for a preliminary hearing.
Warren, of Victoria Road, Dorchester; Webber, of Sydenham Close, Bridgewater, and Seaton, of Maiden Norton, Dorchester, are all charged with conspiracy to murder.
They were arrested following an incident in Forum Court, Bury, on August 4 when Jonathan Catchpole was shot in the stomach. His injuries were not said to have been life threatening.
Warren, Webber and Seaton were remanded in custody until their next court date on October 30.
Four other people remain on police bail on suspicion of conspiracy to murder while police enquiries into the same shooting continue.
They are a 34-year-old man from Dorchester and a 54-year-old man and two women, aged 59 and 28, who are all from the Needham Market area.
