A member of public saw a group of young men carrying a saddle and bridle at Barnham at 3.30 pm on Tuesday but when they realised they had been seen they dropped the property and ran towards the direction of the river.

Police found the tack had been removed from an insecure stable in Thetford Road, Barnham.
