Two teenagers from the Thetford area have been arrested in connection with a series of arsons

Police in Watton have arrested two teenagers in connection with a series of arsons including a fire which destroyed a dugout at a sports centre.

The teens, aged 15 and 16, were arrested yesterday and questioned at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre in connection with a straw bale fire at Watton Airfield on February 16 and fires at Watton Sports Centre on April 8, an industrial unit at Griston Road, Watton, on April 11 and shoplifting at Spar, Vulcan Place, Carbrooke on April 24.

Both teenagers have been released on conditional bail until June 10 while enquiries continue.
