Thetford residents are being encouraged to attend a priority setting meeting with their local policing team next week.

The Safer Thetford Action Group (STAG) meeting will be held for the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) on Thursday July 10.

The meetings give local residents the chance to raise any issues or concerns they may have about where they live, in respect of crime or anti-social behaviour, and provide the opportunity to speak to panel members made up of representatives from the police, council and other agencies.

The panel will then decide on the policing priorities for the area for the coming months, which local officers and relevant partner agencies will act upon.

The meeting next Thursday will be held at the Small Guildhall, Market Square, from 7pm. Anybody who lives or works in the area is welcome to attend.

Anyone unable to attend can speak to an officer from the SNT in advance by calling 101.
