Thetford Players get ready for Rodgers and Hammerstein musical

Members of amateur dramatics group Thetford Players have been working hard in rehearsals for their third full-length musical, South Pacific, on July 12 and 13.

Katie Wright and Craig Plumley, directors of the show, said: “We are extremely fortunate to have such a strong cast that are already delivering great performances in rehearsals.

“We are loving the experience, as much as the cast are, it will be a true spectacle for Thetford.”

Set against the dramatic background of an idyllic South Pacific island during World War Two, the show intertwines romance, duty, and prejudice.
