Thetford murder investigation makes 14th arrest




A 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and conspiracy to supply in connection with the murder of David Lawal in Thetford.

The teenager was arrested at an address in Bedford this morning (Thursday, November 7) and has been brought to Norfolk for questioning.

This is the 14th arrest in connection with the murder of the 25-year-old who died on Brandon Road on Thursday, October 3, in Thetford after suffering stab wounds.

Detectives have been working on a number of lines of enquiry to build a comprehensive picture of what has happened in the hours leading up to the murder.
