A man has been sent for trial charged with possessing extreme and child pornography.

Lennie Paul Clement, 26, of St Edmunds Court, Thetford, entered no pleas when he appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court today.

He was charged with possessing in Thetford on February 20, 24 ‘extreme pornographic images which portrayed in an explicit and realistic way an act which threatened a person’s life and which were grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character’.

He was also charged with possessing, on the same date in Thetford, eight indecent photographs of children, in three categories.

The magistrates remanded him on bail to appear at Norwich Crown Court on July 13.
