Thetford gig nights to be regular thing after opening session

The Carnegie in Thetford rocked last week with its first gig night.

The event featured girl band Pink Lemonade, who have two members from the town, Bury St Edmunds rock band Kelodown and four-piece rock group Basement Strippers.

Tom Scott, one of town council’s venue and events co-ordinators, said: “The event received a really positive reception, even attracting passers-by wondering where the music was coming from.”
