The headquarters of two businesses in Woolpit and Thetford are undergoing construction to help improve their working environment.

BUUK, an energy utilities business in Woolpit, and TROX UK, an air conditioning supplier in Thetford, will both see extensions made to their existing buildings, which are due to be completed early next year.

BUUK, which currently has its staff spread over four buildings on Woolpit Business Park, will see an extension built on to the existing main office at Energy House, allowing all staff to work together in one place.

TROX UK secured planning in March for a new 20,000sqft storage and distribution warehouse, which will be linked to the company’s existing accommodation in Caxton Way.

Structural design elements of both builds will be overseen by Suffolk-based company, Superstructures.

Wincer Kievenaar Architects and Gill Associates will also be working on BUUK’s expansion, while Mixbrow Construction, BHA and Bury St Edmunds-based architect, Rees Pryer, will be taking on the Thetford build.
