Pupils at Westgate Primary School in Bury St Edmunds have experienced first-class acting in their classroom thanks to the town’s first Children’s Art Festival.

Action Transport Theatre Company, who are staging their show STATIk as part of the festival, hosted a workshop for pupils on Tuesday.

A joint project between the Theatre Royal and the Apex, the festival will see family friendly performances taking place at the venues until July 6.

STATIk is showing at the Apex tonight (Wednesday). For a full festival programme, go to theatreroyal.org or theapex.co.uk.
