The A14 was closed after three vehicle collision




Bury St Edmunds motorists have been warned to expect significant delays on parts of the A14 this morning (Thursday, June 6).

It follows a three car collision near Ipswich that led emergency services to close the road to traffic. One of two lanes had been reopened at the time of writing (10am).

Suffolk Constabulary were called to the scene shortly after 8.10am. The road traffic collision involved a Vauxhall van, an Audi car and a Hyundai i30 car, with one motorist suffering minor injuries and being taken to hospital. The ambulance service was also involved.

Traffic remains severe between junctions 58 at Bucklesham and 57 at Ipswich east.
