SEATS from The Apex in Bury St Edmunds have been on sale this week, just over six months after the public building in the arc opened.
A St Edmundsbury Borough Council spokeswoman said the seats had only been for temporary use in The Apex until new furniture for conferences and meetings arrived. The 500 seats had originally been used in the Corn Exchange.
Half of the seats have already been snapped up by a parish council for £500. The council will now take offers for the remaining 250.
Potential buyers should contact The Apex director Tony Doherty on 01284 757810.
The council spokeswoman added the new furniture is all within existing budgets for The Apex.
