Teenaged Stowmarket biker may have lost control of bike

A teenage motorcyclist may have lost control before a collision at Great Finborough an inquest has heard.

Robert Quinn, 19, of Walton Close, Stowmarket, died of multiple injuries sustained in the crash on July 10.

Deputy Suffolk Coroner Yvonne Blake told a hearing in Bury St Edmunds today that Mr Quinn was riding his motorcycle on the B1115 High Road towards Hitcham.

On a bend, he appeared to lose control and was in collision with a VW Passat car travelling the other way.

The inquest has been adjourned until next month to allow the completion of enquiries.
