BurySOUND 2020 finalist Leon O'Leary to play livestream gig for War Child




Teenage singer-songwriter and BurySOUND 2020 finalist Leon O'Leary will give a live performance online to raise money for charity War Child.

The livestream on Thursday (July 30) is in association with Hot Vox Promotions, a company who have worked with artists such as Ed Sheeran, James Bay, Jack Garrett, and Arctic Monkeys.

Leon, 17, said: "I’m aiming to reach £150 in donations for War Child which at the moment is battling the COVID-19 outbreak in the Yemen.

"(In Yemen) resources are scarce and people are susceptible to becoming infected from the virus due to poverty."

Leon advanced from the second heat of the 2020 talent competition back in February.
