TEA parties and coffee mornings for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee are hopefully going to help swell the coffers of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (Each).
The charity, which provides respite care and support for families with seriously ill children, is asking supporters to get out the china cups and caffetieres and hold events for its work.
Each needs to raise more than £13,000 every day to continue its work at its three hospices in Quidenham, Milton and the new Treehouse, in Ipswich.
Nicki Brown, Suffolk fund-raiser, said: “We have put together a fund-raising pack for the event with recipes and games and these tea parties and coffee mornings can only be positive in raising awareness and funds for the work of Each.”
