The new operator of Suffolk County Council’s care homes has been revealed today.
Care UK is the authority’s preferred bidder for its 16 care homes. At a meeting of the county’s cabinet Cllr Colin Noble, portfolio holder for adult and community services, said: “Care UK has shown strong commitment to delivering the values we have.
“They will deliver a comprehensive spending and investment programme. They deliver high quality and in particular they are specialists in dementia services. They are an experienced provider who are established in the market place.”
As part of the move the company will deliver 10 new care homes across the county with each providing between 60 and 80 beds.
